This new grinding system combines well proven KHD technologies: Roller Press with Swing Frame for easy and fast roller change and a tailor-made separating unit, taking care of separating, drying and conveying. The System enables production rates of more than 1000 t/h raw meal and 600 t/h cement to fit large kilns with single grinding units. COMFLEX® features high flexibility for wide range of applications and product qualities, lowest energy demand and favourable particle size distributions. Contrary to other grinding systems, with COMFLEX® at least 50 % of the grinding capacity is available during maintenance of grinding tools.
