Q3 Results show significant increase in order intake

KHD published the results for the 3rd quarter 2010 today.

“Strong order intake from India and Russia contributed greatly to the increased order intake figures” according to CFO Manfred Weinandy.  “After a relatively slow 2009, we are quite optimistic in forecasting acceptable 2010 results, with sales of approximately EUR 300 mio.” so Weinandy.

CEO Jouni Salo goes on to say “These results confirm that KHD is on the right track with our strong strategic focus in the emerging markets, especially the BRIC countries.  Although these are very positive figures, we cannot sit back and wait for the next order.  Everyone needs to be focused on further improving KHD competitiveness and implementing the agreed strategic actions on time.”

Order Intake EUR 266 million (pro forma)
Revenues EUR 187 million
EBIT EUR 17.8 million

 

Forecast for 2010: Approximately EUR 300 million revenues with an EBIT margin of 7% to 8%.
