Your mission
- Process engineering design of grinding plants and their individual components
- Definition of process concepts for new plants, modernization projects, and capacity increases
- Calculation of energy and mass balances, gas and volumetric flow rates, as well as other process data for major plant components
- Planning and supervision of physical testing of raw materials (clinker, slag, etc.), as well as finished and intermediate products from grinding plants
- Assessment of material properties with regard to their influence on the process
- Development of process engineering design programs and maintenance of software tools
- Execution and evaluation of measurement tests as part of studies, plant audits, and R&D projects, as well as validation of the design basis for newly developed products
- Process engineering review of contracts, including guarantees and warranties
- Process engineering commissioning and commissioning supervision of plants, machines, and individual components at customer sites worldwide
- Performance of plant inspections, condition assessments, maintenance, overhauls, etc. at customer sites
- Handling of customer complaints
- Preparation of operating manuals, planning and execution specifications, system standards and manuals, as well as best-practice examples
- Advising our international sites on standards and design, as well as technical coordination and clarification of the respective planning standards
- Sales support and support throughout all phases of the project
- Definition of guarantees for quotations and contracts (production capacity, product fineness, energy consumption, wear, availability)
- Design and execution of tests, including preparation of test reports
Your profile
- Successfully completed degree in process engineering or a comparable qualification
- Very good command of German and English, both written and spoken; an additional foreign language is an advantage
- Several years of professional experience in industrial plant engineering, plant operations, or on construction sites
- Knowledge of modern calculation methods and simulation techniques
- Strong intercultural competence and affinity for IT
- Willingness to travel, including extended stays abroad at construction sites (at least 30%)
- High level of commitment, motivation, and sense of responsibility
