2 Modernization Projects Currently Underway for KHD and HeidelbergCement in Germany

KHD’s 2 modernization projects for HeidelbergCement’s plant in Lengfurt, Germany are currently underway. These projects include the modernization of Raw Meal Grinding Unit with KHD SKS VC 3000 dynamic separator, and the modernization of an existing preheater with KHD’s new PH5835 cyclones. KHD’s responsibility includes manufacturing, erection and commissioning for both projects.

The raw meal grinding unit has been in operation since its successful installation in April 2014, and the installation of the new preheater cyclones are scheduled to begin in the winter of 2015.

Change of KHD’s Chairman of the Management Board

Today the Supervisory Board of KHD Humboldt Wedag International AG (KHD), Cologne, informed KHD’s Management Board that the Chairman of the Management Board (CEO), Mr. Jianlong Shen, has resigned as member of the Management Board with effect as of December 20, 2025.

Today Humboldt Wedag India Private Limited (HW India), New Delhi, India, a subsidiary of KHD Humboldt Wedag International AG (KHD), Cologne, booked the contract package for a major project from its customer Goldcrest Cement Private Limited as order intake.
