2 Modernization Projects Currently Underway for KHD and HeidelbergCement in Germany

KHD’s 2 modernization projects for HeidelbergCement’s plant in Lengfurt, Germany are currently underway. These projects include the modernization of Raw Meal Grinding Unit with KHD SKS VC 3000 dynamic separator, and the modernization of an existing preheater with KHD’s new PH5835 cyclones. KHD’s responsibility includes manufacturing, erection and commissioning for both projects.

The raw meal grinding unit has been in operation since its successful installation in April 2014, and the installation of the new preheater cyclones are scheduled to begin in the winter of 2015.

Resignation of KHD’s Chairman of the Management Board

Today the Supervisory Board of KHD Humboldt Wedag International AG (KHD), Cologne, informed KHD’s Management Board of the resignation for personal reasons by Mr. Gerold Keune as member of the Management Board with immediate effect.

KHD adjusts forecasted result

Cologne, Germany, October 16, 2018 –KHD Humboldt Wedag International AG (KHD), Cologne, adjusts the forecast for its adjusted earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) for the 2018 financial year as part of the updating of the annual planning. Due to cost overruns in project execution, the adjusted EBIT is now expected to be at about the same level as in the previous year.
