Chief Executive Officer (CEO) resigns with immediate effect

Cologne, Germany, March 11, 2016 – Today the Supervisory Board of KHD Humboldt Wedag International AG (KHD), Cologne, informed the KHD Management Board about the resignation of Mr. Johan Cnossen as Chief Executive Officer and member of the Management Board with immediate effect. Mr. Cnossen has decided to step down for personal reasons. His responsibilities will be taken over for an interim period by the other Management Board members.

The Management Board and the Supervisory Board will propose an amendment to the articles of association (reduction of the number of members of the Supervisory Board from six to three persons and reduction of the remuneration for the members) at the Annual General Meeting, which is intended to be held on July 27, 2012.
