KHD and AVIC Partnership Announce First Joint Project

The AVIC – KHD strategic partnership, launched in 2011, is bringing in new business for both companies. Invecem Cement of Venezuela has awarded the AVIC-KHD team their first, joint EPC project for a new 2,400 tpd (tons per day) line at their existing cement plant in San Sebastián, Venezuela. KHD will supply the key core equipment, engineering, and services for the project. All other equipment, construction, and site services will be provided by AVIC. When completed, the new line will run on clean, natural gas.
