On the morning of Thursday, February 12, 2026, KHD’s Chief Technology Officer Matthias Mersmann passed away.

The Supervisory Board of KHD Humboldt Wedag International AG (“KHD”), Cologne, has appointed Mr. Martin Strouhal as additional member of KHD’s Management Board effective January 1, 2026.
Today the newly-elected KHD Humboldt Wedag International AG (KHD) Supervisory Board has elected Mr. Gerhard Beinhauer to be the Chairman of the KHD Supervisory Board. Mr. Xiaofeng “Frank” Liu has been re-elected as Vice Chairman.
