In August 2022, KHD was able to secure yet another purchase order for its Pyrorotor® combustion reactor in South Korea.
The demand for efficient and cost-effective alternative fuel-processing solutions in the cement industry is continuously increasing. Ssangyong Cement C&E Company Ltd. has understood the unique advantages of KHD’s Pyrorotor® and ordered another unit for their Donghae plant in South Korea.
After demonstrating continuous success over the last few years, predominantly in the Asia Pacific region, KHD has now received the first Pyrorotor® order in Turkey. This latest order underlines the growing demand for sustainable and cost-effective utilization of alternative fuels – a demand that is now reaching new countries and market regions.
Starting in May 2022, KHD Humboldt Wedag International AG participates in the ACCESS project to develop carbon capture utilization & storage technologies for the cement industry.
