Construction planning and coordination in consultation with local assembly companies, suppliers and customer representatives
Supervision of assembly and, if necessary, management of the mechanical assembly of systems/parts, machines and individual components
Support with the commissioning of plants and plant components in cooperation with the site manager/commissioning engineer
Carrying out plant inspections, maintenance, revisions, etc.
Control of delivered machines and components and compilation of records of box opening
Compliance with ITP’s (Inspection Test Procedures) and documentation
Carrying out handover tests (incl. performance and no-load tests) and preparing assembly-handover reports
Preparation of deviation reports (incl. determination and implementation of minor measures) and progress reports
Support in organizing and setting up the respective construction site
Technical guidance of the installation personnel
Regular participation in progress meetings with customers and contact persons on site as well as internal departments (incl. reporting)
Conducting training courses and tutorials

A completed technical degree (e.g. in mechanical engineering) or a vocational training with an additional technical qualification (e.g. as a certified foreman)
Profound knowledge of plant construction with regard to foreign assembly and international construction sites, preferably in cement technology
Knowledge of welding technology and in-depth knowledge of HSE / SCC
General commercial understanding, especially contractual basics
Excellent organizational skills (time and task management, processes, personnel)
Willingness and ability to work at great heights and in confined spaces
Analytical thinking, structured way of working, intercultural competence and willingness to travel worldwide (90%)
Fluent proficiency in written and spoken German and English
Proficient in MS Office and common IT applications

Perform maintenance, repair, assembly, and modification work on machinery, equipment, and apparatus
Prepare, set up, and support trials in the pilot plant, including sample splitting and preparation
Conduct a range of analyses, including sieve analyses, grinding tests, particle size measurements, and wet-chemical concentration analyses, in close cooperation with process engineers
Evaluate, analyze, and document test and trial results
Support the continuous improvement and optimization of test procedures and equipment
Collaborate with changing interdisciplinary teams as part of industrial research and development projects

Completed vocational training as an Industrial Mechanic, Process Technician for Mineral Processing, Apparatus and Equipment Technician, Plant Mechanic, Construction Materials Tester, or a comparable qualification
Very good command of German and good written and spoken English
Confident use of MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
Enjoy working on varied tasks and collaborating with different teams
Independent, reliable, and responsible approach to work
Strong interest in industrial research and development
Excellent practical and technical skills
Ideally, experience with common welding processes such as manual metal arc welding (MMA), MAG, and TIG
